The Department of Water Resources, through the Water Resources Office Region 5, participated in the working group meeting on flood prevention and mitigation in communities of Nakhon Ratchasima Province in 2026.

Mr. Sumit Sisa, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 5, assigned the Mechanical Engineering Division 1, Nakhon Ratchasima, to attend the working group meeting on flood prevention and mitigation in Nakhon Ratchasima Province in 2026. The meeting focused on the Technovillage community, extending along Suranarai Road, in Cho Ho Subdistrict and surrounding areas. It was held at the Cho Ho Subdistrict Municipality meeting room, 4th floor, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and was chaired by Mr. Kris Poonkasem, Head of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office (representing the Deputy Governor).
The Regional Water Resources Office 5 has been assigned to oversee the area of Ban Bueng Thap Chang, Village No. 7, Cho Ho Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, in collaboration with relevant agencies, to prepare for potential flooding in the future.
